  • Thank you CT for this course. The material covered was clear and well presented.

    November 11, 2024

Thank you CT for this course. The material covered was clear and well presented. It is a bit repetitive in parts and came through as thus a bit disjointed. It would have been helpful , very helpful if the cases described were followed through with the trajectory into their recovery phase through the individual pattern of points required to be used. While expressions of HEAT are common in emotional trauma and in the recovery phase, there are other possible expressions. The Q+A session clearly pointed out the need to be watchful during Soothing the Trauma for a return to the need for further Gathering treatment. I have found some cases where a mixed approach was indicated. There is certainly a wave like pattern in many cases of emotional trauma. Also I was a bit surprised that it was not pointed out that there were other uses of the Soothing points that can bring up some interesting surprises. For example the use of DU-24 with the extra points between B and GB have a very powerful effect on sinus issues and brain related headaches. I am grateful for your sharing of this course and keep up the good work bringing back smiles.

    Response from TCM Academy

    Dear Kevin,

Thank you for your feedback about the class. It is always helpful to know where there are areas needing improvement. I will review the course material for repetition. I typically like to reinforce certain information and repeat some things in class to help solidify participants’ understanding. That said, I want the classes to flow smoothly, so I will reevaluate the PPT.

This is a wonderful idea for the cases to explain their trajectory in detail. Unfortunately, due to the limited time in this class, it wasn’t possible, but it gave me an idea for a future class.

The ‘Soothing the Trauma Memory’ prescription can be used for other conditions. I appreciate you pointing that out and will mention it in future classes.

Ryan, I really appreciate your communication, and I hope to see you in upcoming courses!

    All the best,

What a deeply interesting and meaningful journey into the trauma and the way we can help as practitioners!

CT’s teaching is very precise and in the meantime caring and supportive. Being able to see so many cases and have CT’s way of thinking about them was really transformative and inspiring.

Thank you CT for this brilliant workshop !

I loved this workshop. I’ve been working with people in Trauma for many years and I found this workshop, and CT’s style of teaching very caring, interesting and engaging. Have been using the Gathering the Qi Protocol with a couple of my people and seeing an instant change in the Shen in their eyes. Beautiful. Thankyou CT ????????
