Course Overview
Dysmenorrhea and Endometriosis
Session 2 of the “Gateway to Women’s Health & Fertility” series builds on the essential foundation provided in Session 1.
In this second part, we go deeper into the mechanisms, physiology, and energetics of the Lower Jiao, with a focus on understanding and treating stagnation-related conditions such as dysmenorrhea and endometriosis. Using a blend of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western medical perspectives, this session equips practitioners with diagnostic tools and treatment strategies to address these conditions comprehensively.
Through detailed exploration of the physiological and energetic dynamics of the Lower Jiao, you will gain insight into:
- The critical balance between yin and yang, qi and blood.
- The role of key organ systems and meridians in women’s health.
- Specific techniques in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and dietary recommendations.
- The integration of emotional considerations into holistic care.
Real-world case studies will be used to illustrate practical applications, enabling practitioners to confidently integrate theoretical knowledge into their clinical practice.
Prerequisite: Why You Must Complete Session 1
To gain the most from this session, you must complete Session 1, Achieving the Optimal Conditions for Conception.
In Session 1, we laid the groundwork for understanding the natural menstrual cycle’s physiological and energetic rhythms. This foundational knowledge is essential to grasp the complex pathologies addressed in Session 2. Without a clear understanding of the healthy, balanced state of the menstrual cycle, the nuances of diagnosing and treating conditions like dysmenorrhea and endometriosis will be difficult to fully comprehend.
Empowering Practitioners for Better Care
This session aims to empower practitioners with the knowledge and tools needed to address women’s reproductive health challenges, improving both their patients’ well-being and their clinical outcomes. By the end of this session, you will be equipped to provide holistic and effective care tailored to the needs of women experiencing dysmenorrhea and endometriosis.
