Tirza Paytan Sela is a Master in calligraphy and Japanese Art She has lived and studied in Japan for more than 8 years, She had the privilege to be a part of a tradition that is transferred through generations in Japan while being a Deshi- apprentice to renown artists and masters. Tirza learned calligraphy , ink painting, Washi making and other Japanese traditional arts.
She has been certificated by the Japanese government and exhibited across Japan and the world. Since coming back from Japan Tirza has established the Japanese Calligraphy school and culture center in Tel-Aviv Israel. Tirza is bringing the Traditional Japanese arts to the western world and making it effective and relevant here and now, building a bridge between cultures. Her work has inspired many people.
