When Discussing pregnancy, we usually first speak about Ren Mai – the Vessel of Conception. However, it is equally important to understand the impactful role of Du Mai in pregnancy, for there is no Yin without Yang and no Ren Mai without Du Mai.
This is not only a philosophical statement but a practical understanding of many physiological and pathological processes during pregnancy and childbirth, from abnormal development of the fetus to delay in labor.
